children's ministries
The kids memorized I and II Samuel in 2023, Matthew in 2024, Acts in 2025 and Genesis through June 2026 and Exodus through December 2026. We have had several students do well enough in lower level competitions to compete against thousands of children around the world in Indiana. Two of our students reached the highest score possible and our church could not be more proud.
It was amazing to have so much support from the church family to make the trip possible. It was a terrific experience for everyone that came!
This is the first time our church has been represented at the World Bible Quiz and there was so much excitement! Our team was so surprised how big an event this ended up to be.
We can't forget to mention the parents of the children and Miss Retha who put in so much work to help the kids with their memorization!
This year, our VBS is June 8th to June 11th from 6-8 pm
Your children will really enjoy all the activities. Each night is full of music, games, the Bible lesson and a snack. We will be learning about the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt in our program called "The Amazing Journey!" Invite a friend and check it out!
Children are not left out of our worship services. They participate upstairs during the music and announcements, and go down to the Zone while Pastor Jansen gives the sermon. A few times during the year, they have an opportunity to provide the special music as well.
